Edge Wallet Adds LibertyX and MoonPay to Facilitate Payments

The Edge crypto wallet revealed that it has integrated LibertyX and MoonPay, two payment options which allow users to purchase bitcoin and cryptocurrencies using fiat.

Edge posted on its blog that the team has incorporated LibertyX and MoonPay into its crypto wallet. this incorporation has the goal to increase Bitcoin and cryptocurrency adoption by encouraging more people to get into the crypto space through methods that are familiar to them.

LibertyX was created by Moon, Inc, a service “that connects users with local US merchants and ATMs that allow users to buy BTC with cash and debit cards.” LibertyX currently has the most developed network of Bitcoin ATMs, cashiers, and kiosks in the US. Through the service, users are able to make purchases of $3,000 worth of bitcoin in a matter of minutes.

MoonPay, a service operated by Moon Pay Limited, was also integrated into the wallet. The service allows users from EU, UK, Canada, and South Korea “to buy crypto-assets like BTC, BAT, BCH, BNB, DAI, EOS, ETH, LTS, TrueUSD, USDC, XLM, and XRP with ApplePay and some credit cards.

Besides the integration of the new options, Edge also fixed several bugs and made some improvement in the design.”

The updated wallet app v.1.8.3 solved the bug which prevented custom added coins to be displayed after the user logged in again. Another bug that was fixed was “a send error issue if the app was returned from the background after an extended amount of time. “

Some improvements were made to the design, appearance, and notifications of the wallet.

Edge rebranded from AirBitz and continues to activate as a multi-coin wallet. The wallet has apps for both iOS or Android systems.

The wallet supports a list of cryptocurrencies which consists of Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin, Bitcoin Cash, Monero, Ripple (XRP), Feathercoin, Zcoin, Dash, Augur REP, Wings, and Indorse.
