To the surprise of nobody, “woke” Democrats appear eager to abandon their “wokeness” when it comes to presidential candidates who are female, people of color, or white females who pretended to be of Native American descent.
Indeed, for all their talk about “white privilege,” Democrat voters are rushing to support the ultimate examples of white privilege in Joe Biden and Bernie Sanders.
Joe Biden Embodies White Privilege

Joe Biden is a longtime member of the Democratic establishment who is awash in money, and worse, seems to have a #MeToo grabby-hands problem. This is naturally waived off by hypocritical Democrats. Victims of sexual assault are only useful to Democrats when they can advance their own agenda.
As far as being palatable to Democrat primary voters, Mayor Pete Buttigieg is significantly behind Biden. The Wall Street Journal/NBC News poll showed 44% of voters saying they are either “enthusiastic” or “comfortable” with him.
It is still very early in the election cycle, with 18 months to go before the next presidential election. As interesting as the WSJ/NBC poll is, much will change between now and the election.
Historically, voters don’t pay attention until the debates begin. Voters also have a tendency to shift their focus from candidate to candidate, each one rising and then falling in the polls before a front runner is settled upon.
Will Democrats Abandon Principles? Hell Yes!

The fact that Joe Biden was encouraged to enter the race at all is a clear admission that liberal elites don’t actually believe a candidate representing the ideal Democratic vision – a woman or a minority – would win against Donald Trump.
Faced with abandoning their principles or losing 2020 in a landslide, the Democrats obviously chose the former. It’s easy for Democrats to do this because they don’t actually have any principles. The only value that Blacks, Hispanics, LGBTQ individuals, women, sexual assault survivors, or illegal immigrants hold for Democrats are their votes.
The Democrats don’t actually want to help or lift up any of these people. They are just political footballs that are used to divide the country. All Democrats will ever do is point to these individuals and call them victims, and all that does is encourage those individuals to believe that they are victims.

Or, as Joe Biden said on the 2012 campaign trail, “they’re [Republicans] going to put y’all back in chains.”
Biden Sticks to the Victim Script
The reason Democratic primary voters are “enthusiastic” about Joe Biden, although he’s a white male of significant privilege, is that he sticks to the victim-driven narrative. This platform is the same as every other Democrat, namely, “Impeach Trump! Trump’s a racist! Free stuff for everyone!”
Going forward, the question is whether the Democrat party elite will throw their full weight behind Biden against Trump, or cave to the increasingly radical leftist elements in the party.
The far left seems to have control of the Democratic Party, with idiots like Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and anti-Semites Ilhan Omar sucking all the air out of the room.
There’s also the lingering question of Bernie Sanders. Some Democrats feel he should have a shot considering the nomination was stolen from him in 2016. On the other hand, the radical left, despite being aligned with his beliefs, would have to swallow the bitter pill of putting up a white male of significant privilege.
Not that they care.
