By CCN Markets: After vowing to “f**king bury” the U.S. government over the weekend, Bitcoin firebrand John McAfee has now ruffled the feathers of the Bahamas’ anti-corruption czar, according to Tribune 242.
Bahamian Anti-Corruption Chief Doesn’t Appreciate Being Accused of Corruption
Earlier this week, McAfee leveled corruption allegations against the acting deputy commissioner of the Royal Bahamas Police Force, Paul Rolle. Now Rolle – head of the department’s anti-corruption unit – has threatened to slap McAfee with a defamation lawsuit.
In a tweet, John McAfee alleged that Rolle had received tens of thousands of dollars in suspicious payments. Prior to making the shocking claim, McAfee had warned that he would expose corruption in governments.
Paul Rolle, Bahamian Police Assist. Commisioner, worked with Kent. In 2015 Mr. Rolle received four payments of 15k each from “Business Software Alliance”. Part of a $4mil deal with Motorola. Then $65,000 from Mr. Aissami from Venezuela. Next $110,000 from Grand Coral Fund. (More)

Rolle, however, refuted any acts of impropriety, denying links to the organizations and individuals McAfee mentioned:
“I wish to say categorically that I do not know these persons nor have had any dealings with them or the institution of which he or she spoke and have not received any monies from anybody in relations to any government contract.”
McAfee fled the U.S. earlier in the year over fears that the federal government was pursuing him over tax evasion. He claims to have been primarily holed up the Bahamas. He also claims that he is being actively pursued and has even accused Rolle of cooperating with CIA agents to arrest him.
John McAfee’s Mission to Expose Government Corruption
Before making the allegations of corruption against Rolle, McAfee teased that he was in possession of even more “incriminating data” – 31 terabytes worth.
I’ve collected files on corruption in governments. For the first time, I’m naming names and specifics. I’ll begin with a corrupt CIA agent and two Bahamian officials. Coming today. If I’m arrested or disappear, 31+ terrabytes of incriminating data will be released to the press.

The notorious crypto celebrity has not taken Rolle’s threat of a lawsuit lightly. But rather than lawyer up, McAfee has threatened to reveal more evidence. Specifically, the Bitcoin-pumping U.S. 2020 presidential candidate has stated he will expose Rolle’s bank transaction records.
Bahamas Assist. Police Commissioner – Paul Rolle co-operates wirh Rogue CIA agent – Patrick Costello, to collect me. Rolle now wants proof of bad deeds. I will publish his deposits and withdrawals from Fidelity Bank, acct # 871040052816. OK Mr. Rolle? Should have Googled me. pic.twitter.com/NlaAX0fm9r

The senior police officer has denied any “business relationship with Fidelity Bank.”
Interestingly, for a man on the run, McAfee’s most recent tweets bear the location they were supposedly sent from – Cuba. This, however, could be a ruse designed to throw his pursuers – assuming they actually exist – off track.
Caribbean Vacation Not All Sun & Fun for Enigmatic Bitcoin Pumper
Besides Rolle, McAfee also accused Commodore Tellis Bethel of working with CIA agents to arrest him. Bethel is the head of the Royal Bahamas Defence Force. Two months ago, the cryptocurrency maverick had argued that his reason for going into exile in the Bahamas was driven by the fact that he couldn’t be easily extradited.
Specifically, John McAfee pointed out that the Caribbean country “does not have an income tax.” This, in his view, made extradition to the U.S. difficult since “tax evasion is not a crime in the Bahamas.” Lately, he has raised the possibility that the U.S. strategy is to “unlawfully collect” him.
This is not the first time that McAfee has expressed fears for his life or freedom. Mid last month, for instance, the cryptocurrency maverick alleged that he was going dark. This prompted speculation that he had been arrested by U.S. federal agents. John McAfee has also previously warned that there’s an attempt by the U.S. to “silence” him.
