Canadian regulator appealed to Google with a request to ban advertising ICO and crypto currency

The Manitoba Securities Commission and the chairman of the Canada Binary Option Task Force have asked Google to follow Facebook in their advertising policies and ban all advertisements that relate to crypto, binary options and ICO, Canadian Casinoreports reports.

The publication also claims that American law enforcement agencies joined the request of Canadians.

Jason Roy, senior investigator for the Manitoba Securities Commission and chairman of the Canadian binary options task group, expressed satisfaction with Facebook’s decision and hope that Google will adopt a similar advertising policy for advertising financial products, which is often misleading users.

In addition to Facebook, restrictive measures to advertise crypto currency and ICO already apply in Chinese social networks and search engines.

The example of Facebook is clearly contagious.
