Crypto wallet company gets 20K downloads by roasting JP Morgan CEO — Crypto News 24/7

Eidoo, a new Crypto Wallet, has managed to get 20k net downloads of their wallet, by drawing the attention of its initial coin offering in a really smart way. Eidoo used an advertisement page on the Wall Street Journal, to roast JP Morgan Chief Executive, Jamie Dimon, who recently criticised the blockchain revolution and stated that “Bitcoin is a fraud”.

After last month statement of Jamie Dimon, Eidoo executives had this idea of roasting Jamie, who is known as an intense critic of Bitcoin, and even said that “Employees caught mining or trading, will be fired.”
According to their AD, If you get fired by Jamie, you can easily trade on their hybrid exchange.

The attention they managed to get, was enough to make a good start but rumours say that a full-page ad in The Wall Street Journal, could cost more than $350,000.

If Eidoo paid that amount, we don’t really know for sure, but even so, it appears that the PR stunt, paid off.

The newspaper ad was a direct roast to Jamie Dimon – JP Morgan C.E.O

“Maybe Jamie will fire you. But you will be free to trade in the crypto world.”

Below the fold, the company included a QR code link to the smartphone app for its multicurrency wallet and hybrid exchange.

Switzerland-based start-up Eidoo launched last week and bills itself as a digital wallet for people to hold Ethereum, the second-largest cryptocurrency by market cap. It has plans to launch a debit card to spend both Ethereum and bitcoin as well as an exchange to trade both
