IOTA Becomes Founding Member of International Association for Trusted Blockchain Applications

On February 28, in a special video shared by IOTA Foundation, director of social impact and public regulatory affairs, Julie Maupin, has introduced the International Association for Trusted Blockchain Applications (INATBA) and IOTA is a founding member.

About a year ago, Dr. Julie Maupin left the Fintech Advisory Board of the German Ministry of Finance and the G20 Digital Economy Experts Task Force team and joined the IOTA Foundation.

More than 70 Partners Wordwide

According to Dr. Julie Maupin, IOTA and more than 70 partners from six continents are coming together to help create smart global governance frameworks for blockchain and distributed ledger technologies.

IOTA is joining together with its partner at the European Commission, academic institutions, governments, startups and more to develop global governance frameworks and technology standards that allow distributed ledgers to realize their full potential.

In a video Julie has underlined that with the new emerging technologies new risks arise, such as money laundering, consumer fraud, cyber crimes and more and the International Association for Trusted Blockchain Applications (INATBA) was founded to help address these concerns.
